Achnacloich is a stunning Scottish Baronial house with an elevated position overlooking Loch Etive in Argyll. It is 6 miles east of Oban.
With nine bedrooms and six bathrooms Achnacloich can comfortably sleep 16-18 people, but is well-suited to smaller groups. It is a much-loved and lived in family home with full facilities.
Achnacloich was built by John Starforth of Glasgow and has been in the Nelson family since 1890. It is well-known for its wonderful woodland gardens and sits in the middle of a private 5,000 acre estate.
There is also an additional four-bedroom cottage, Rhunacairn, on the estate which can be let separately.
For outdoor life, beautiful scenery or just quiet relaxation, Achnacloich is the perfect house for a family holiday in the Highlands.
